Although Restorative Therapies and Rife Frequency Therapy will not cause side effects, they can cause a healing crisis- known as a Herx or Herx Reaction. 

A Herx occurs when our body’s detox pathways are overburdened with die-off or toxins. 

A Herx reaction is your body’s natural response to detoxification. 

They can occur when using herbs, running a detox protocol, or anything that may enhance the body's detoxification. 

When Rife frequency therapy or herbal remedies start eradicating germs, the poisons contained within the germs are released into your tissues and bloodstream. 

Our bodies have several natural mechanisms to remove these poisons called the ‘BULLS’ pathways (Bowels, Urinary, Liver, Lymph, Skin). 

However, eliminating all the toxins takes time. 

Large amounts of microbial or harmful cell waste and toxins cannot quickly decompose and be expelled from the usual channels (liver, urinary + bowels). 

So, toxic material is discharged through the lungs, sinuses, and skin.

A Herx reaction indicates that the support and programs act as intended but a little too fast—quicker than your body can remove the toxins. 

This can be prevented by supporting the BULLS pathways with proper diet and adequate type of hydration, herbal support, exercise, deep breathing techniques, and other detox support therapies - combined with taking a binder before your herbs or Rife frequency session.

For backup prevention when using Rife therapy, I simply try a lower amplitude setting when rerunning your sets.

Herx reactions will eventually clear independently with a break from treatment, time, and the previously mentioned support.
